Aaron’s experience includes service at the law firms of Fredrikson & Byron, Morrison Fenske & Sund, Foley & Mansfield, and Henningson & Snoxell. Aaron worked as a staff attorney at Kroll Ontrack, a technology company in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Aaron served as a judicial extern under the Honorable Paul A. Magnuson, United States District Court Judge. Aaron taught as an adjunct Business Law professor at Concordia University, including course offerings of Introduction to Business Law, Business Law for Marketing Professionals, and Internet Law for Marketing Professionals.

Education

Aaron was awarded his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, where he served on the William Mitchell Law Review. He was recognized on the Deans List for outstanding academics and received the CALI Awards of Excellence in Corporations and Alternative Dispute Resolutions courses. Aaron served as President of the Business Law Society and coordinated the establishment of the Corporate Appellate Law Moot Court.

He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management and Innovation summa cum laude (with a perfect 4.0 GPA) from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Civic Involvement

Aaron served in a variety of appointed positions for city, county, and state government entities, including the Burnsville City Board of Appeals, the 35W Solutions Alliance, the Minnesota Department of Revenue Property Tax Assessment and Classification Reform Study Group, and the Heart of the City Steering Committee. In 2007, the Minnesota Justice Foundation recognized Aaron for providing over 200 hours of pro bono legal services during the year.

Legal Writing and Awards

Aaron authored the recently published article, Unenforceable Fiduciary Duty Limitations: Why Drafting Partnership Agreements Limiting the Duty to Disclose and Partnership Opportunity is More Precarious After Triple Five of Minn., Inc. v. Simon, 404 F.3d 1088 (8th Cir. 2005), 33 Wm. Mitchell L. Rev. 1483 (2007).

Aaron is a contributing author of a forthcoming edition of a prominent legal treatise on business and corporate law in Minnesota. Aaron has been quoted in the Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, LA Times, and Associated Press syndicated articles. Aaron’s written work has been nominated for the Burton Brief Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. In 2001, the Minnesota Jaycees awarded Aaron Hall with the Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans Award.
